Game Box Maker

Add a photo for each side, then download two sheets. Print both at 7-Eleven on 2L photo paper, cut along the outline, and glue the halves into one box.

1 · Box

Defaults are measured Japanese boxes (GBA 135×86×21 mm, GBC 96×121×21 mm). Boxes vary by a millimetre or so, so check yours with a ruler.

2 · Sides

Sheet A

Top 上面

Sheet B

Right side 右側面
Back 裏面
Bottom 底面

3 · Print

Only one dust flap per end fits on this paper. The lids still tuck in, but a dab of glue keeps the ends shut.

Printing at 7-Eleven

  1. Upload both JPGs to the netprint app or the セブン‐イレブン マルチコピー app as photo prints.
  2. At the machine choose 写真プリント → 2L. Don't zoom, crop, or add a border.
  3. Measure the 100 mm ruler printed on the glue flap. If it comes out at 101.5 mm, set Print scale to 98.5% and print again.

Assembly

  1. Cut along the outline on both sheets. Score the folds lightly with a dull knife or an empty pen.
  2. Glue the flap on sheet A behind the bare edge of the back (sheet B).
  3. Glue the flap on sheet B behind the bare edge of the front (sheet A). You now have a tube.
  4. Fold the dust flaps in, then tuck both end lids closed. On a GBA box the lids close the left and right ends.
